Our hearts and prayers

Here at The Book Reading Gals we are all parents of school age children. Both Helen and Janon have kids in elementary school while mine (Heather) are in middle school. Our hearts and prayers go out the families in Connecticut who have precious children and loved ones in a senseless act of violence against the most innocent of all victims. I can’t imagine how heart breaking and devastating it is for those families who sent their children to school this morning only to have them never come home.

My heart aches everytime I think about this event. Such a tragic event. It makes me want to hold my loved ones closer and tell them I love them right then. You never expect something like this especially in a school setting. It’s scary.
