I LOVE this series! I recommend you read the first too, The Black Lyon. It takes you into the velvet books. It’s been so long since I’ve read these, I’m aching to go pull them all off my keeper shelf and give them all a good rereading. Thank you for spotlighting them today. :)

I love Jude Deveraux too! But the Velvet books are not my favorite in the Montgomery series. I prefer The Awakening and, of course, A Knight in Shining Armor. They are the ones I’ve reread many times but the whole series is great.

I have never read these books– or anything by this author, for that matter. I’ll have to change that! These books sound wonderful!

I haven’t read these books either. Looks like it’s time to load up my Amazon account again.

This really is one of my alltime favourite series. I hope many more people will enjoy them. Jude Deveraux is one of the best authors out there, but lately, I don’t see many reviews of her books.

I haven’t read a Jude Deveraux book in a long time and this post reminds me how much I miss her books. I’ve really been enjoying her Edilean books but some of my favorites are of her older ones. The good thing is I haven’t read all of her backlist and can catch up soon.

I love this series. It was one of the first historical series I read when I was a teen.
