A Chesapeake Shore Christmas

A Chesapeake Shore Christmas

A Chesapeake Shores Novel bk 4

Sherryl Woods

After years apart, Mick and Megan O’Brien are finally ready to make it official…again. Most of their grown children couldn’t be happier about their rekindled love and impending marriage this holiday season. Only Connor is a holdout. Driven to become a divorce attorney after what he views as his mother’s abandonment of their family, Connor’s not about to give his blessing to this reunion romance.

The last thing Megan wants to do is hurt her family again. After all, is she really sure she and Mick can make it this time around? And when an unexpected delivery causes chaos, it seems only a miracle can reunite this family.

Of course, it is Christmas—the season of miracles.

I know that it is after Christmas but when I was cleaning out my ebooks I realized that I hadn’t posted my review of this book and had to post it.

Being a sucker for Christmas books when I saw this book, by Sherryl Woods I had to read it. In the beginning I was  little lost as I hadn’t read the other books in the series, that apparently are about Megan and Mick’s children, but that soon passed as I began to fall in love with this family.

Megan and Mick are finally getting re-married after being divorced for several years, almost as many years as they were married. The nice thing about these two was that even though they had been divorced for so many years, the only person that they loved was each other. It just took them a long time to get back to each other. The only kink in the marriage plans is their youngest son. The one that was the most tramatized by the divorce.

This is where the most of the story takes place, it surrounds Connor and his behavior about his parents re-marrying, and also how his life comes crashing down around him. This is beautiful set-up for the final book in this series Connor’s.

Watching Megan and Mick and their children deal with each other and crisis that come up, make this a nice Christmas read, no the family isn’t perfect, they have their issues, but the are willing to work through them and be a family.

If you are fan of Sherryl Woods than you won’t want to miss this book, and if you have read the other books in this series than you will most definitely want to read this book before Connor’s comes out.
