Thoughts: Honestly, I tried reading a book years ago by Terry Spear and I just didn’t feel it, however when I came across this one something had me giving the author another try. I’m glad I did! Of course, the reader does get a feeling that your stepping into a series – and that you are missing some history coming into book 5 like this, but I expected that. Nevertheless, this book caught my attention and held it and had me eager to read more from the series and to try a few other works by this author!
It was also a great opportunity to get in a Christmas read this time of year that actually involves shifters!
