Series: Pride Series bk 7
Author: Shelly Laurenston
Lou Crushek is a reasonable, mellow, easygoing kind of guy—especially for a shapeshifting bear. But once someone starts killing the scumbags he works so hard to bust, that really gets under his fur. Especially when that someone is a curvy she — tiger who’s bringing his passion out of hibernation…
Marcella Malone is a member of an elite feline protection unit, and Crush is proving one major pain in her gorgeous tail. The only reason she’s joined forces with him is to track down the wealthy human who’s got her entire species in his ruthless sights. But there’s no denying that beneath that big, burly exterior is a man who knows how to rub her in all the right ways…
Reading a Shelly Laurenston novel is always hilarious. I Love her Pride Series. She has Almost every shifter animal you can think of including Lions, tigers and Bears! Who ever thought you could fall in love with a book about a Hockey loving Bear Shifter, Anal retentive Cop thrown in with an over the top spunky, Hockey playing Shifter Tiger Chick who loves nothing more than to drive said cop crazy. Whith Shelly’s latest release, Bear Meets Girl.
Lou “Crush” Crushek is usually very laid back. But he makes the mistake of going to a co-workers party and has one to many jell-o shots. Only to wake up naked with a She-Tiger using him as a mattress. Then the She-Tiger Freaks him out because she continues to snuggle with him and makes him believe she left her toddler daughter alone to fend for herself.
Marcella “Bare Knuckles” Malone works as a protective agent for the KZS and plays professional hockey. Her father is a huge Icon. Crush is a huge fan but has no ideaqt first the she- Tiger who rubbed him the wrong wayway is the daughter of the greatest hockey player ever.
Since Cella and Crush come into contact with one another again, or rather she flirts with him purposely to embarrass him and asks him to be her pretend boyfriend to get her crazy family off her back, he gets to know her and they begin a very interesting relationship. Cella’s daughter is a high school senior and the exact opposite of her mother. She likes Crush and thinks he’s a good influence on Cella who has residual guilt for leaving her daughter Meghan alone for extended periods of time growing up. But for the most part, Meghan is well adjusted and wants Cella to be happy.
