Celebrating Pride Month in Romance: Heather’s favorite M/M stories + giveaway

Several years ago I was at a romance reading con and a reader told me I needed to read m/m romance and I was like nah it’s not my cup of tea. I had read Deidre Knight’s God’s of Midnight Series and there was a gay character that I wasn’t to hip on. It was several years later when J.R. Ward wrote Lover at Last the story of Blay and Qhuinn and I really fell in love with the genre. Since then I’ve read a lot of M/M. Then there is the M/M/F stories. I’m way more picky on those than I am on the M/M.

So here’s my list of the best M/M and M/F/M books and authors. I’m linking the authors names to their websites and book covers to their pages on the authors websites.

Lauren Dane – It was Lauren who changed everything for me when it came to reading about love that wasn’t heterosexual. On top of that she wrote two of my absolute favorite m/m relationships that turn into an m/m/f VIncente and Julian in Captivated. All of these books are parts of a series, but you can read them as stand-alones.

Elle Kennedy – Elle is another author whose m/m/f and m/m stories are ones I re-read at least once a year.  She also co-writes one of my absolute favorite m/m series with Sarina Bowen.  When you click on Midnight Target the blurb won’t have an M/M story blurb, that’s because there are actually 2 stories in this book, the 2nd story is the m/m

Sarina Bowen has turned into one of my absolute favorite authors thanks to Elle Kennedy. If they hadn’t paired up to write Him and Us I would never have found her. Her book Goodbye Paradise is one of those books I have to read several times a year.

Charlie Cochet is an author I discovered last year thanks to Angela James and let me tell you I’m super glad she told me to read her as I binge read her entire back-list in one weekend. And then I started all over again. As there are considerable books in that back-list you can imagine how many books I read. Because of that I’m only going to put the 1st book in each of her series that I’ve read up. One series has more than 10 books in it.

Annabeth Albert is an author I found one day and I’m so glad that I did. I have completely fallen in love with all of her books. Her #gaymers and Out of Uniform Series are 2 of my absolute favorites and I’ve read each book more than once.  I have her other series in my insane TBR pile.  Because she has so many books in each series I’ll just post the 1st book in each series. Save the Date is also free.

Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliott write the most amazing series. This is another one of those series that I binge read in one weekend. The heroes are oh so delicious and menacing. Not going to lie, you will want to crawl into these books and wish you were the person in bed with them. Shiver and Psyco Romeo are the 1st books in their series.

Far and Away my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE M/M hero is HelenKay Dimon‘s Eli. At least once a week I ask her when I will get more Eli. If you haven’t read about him you need to FIX THIS NOW! Okay so his story actually starts in book 1 of the series and goes throughout the entire series but he does have his own story. The other m/m books by her are just as good, but they aren’t Eli. All of these series (I’ve only posted the 1st book in the series with the exception of Eli’s book Taken)

There are a lot more fantastic books and authors in this genre that I didn’t mention, if I hadn’t this post would have been so much longer.  To celebrate #pridemonth I’m giving away 3 ebooks from the list I’ve made.
