Deep Disclosure by Dee Davis

Title: Deep Disclosure

Series: A-Tac

Author: Dee Davis

Genre: Romantic Suspense

After spending years in prison under deep cover, black ops agent Tucker Flynn joins A-Tac, an elite CIA unit masquerading as faculty at an Ivy League college. Nothing can shake him-except a vulnerable young woman marked for death.

DUAL DECEPTION

When Tucker is assigned to protect-and secretly investigate-Alexis Markham, he expects a routine mission. But this mysterious beauty has a past even darker than his: her father created a horrifying new biochemical weapon-and was murdered to keep it secret.

Alexis has spent the last decade racing to stay one step ahead of the shadowy operatives who will stop at nothing to possess her father’s formula. She can trust no one, not even her handsome new bodyguard. But the heat that flares between them is impossible to resist. Will giving in to passion bring her the safety she’s always craved, or will her love for Tucker draw him into a killer’s sights?

From the moment I finished reading Dangerous Desires book 2 in this series I wanted Tucker’s story. He’d had such a raw deal handed to him. Then when he’d finally found a reason to live he discovers that she’s his brothers girl.

This is one of those books that I was never really sure what was going to happen next and for someone that can usually tell really fast what is going to happen and where and how I liked that it kept me guessing.

Tucker is one guy that deserves a happily ever after. After being stuck in a Colombian prison for years he is finally free. Now to figure out the rest of his life.

Alexa has been on the run for most of her life. She knows no other life. So when her godfather is killed just after she leaves him and she suddenly has people shooting at her she figures it’s time to get out of dodge. She wasn’t counting on Tucker though.

The chemistry between these two is very tangible. Then there is the whole trust thing. But when they decide to work together they are a force to be reckoned with.

I really liked this book. The characters were great, we got to meet up with the the gang and see what was going on with them.

For me one of the things that I like best about this series is that these guys are a family. They are also a little Indiana Jones ish with being college professors by day and black ops by night 🙂

If you are a fan of this series you won’t want to miss this book, and if you are discovering Dee for the first time you can read this book as a stand alone however I recommend you at least read Dangerous Desires as this is Tuckers back story.

Grade B+
