Desire Unchained

Desire Unchained

Demonica bk 2

Larissa Ione

Runa Wagner never meant to fall in love with the sexy stranger who seemed to know her every deepest desire. But she couldn’t resist the unbelievable passion that burned between them, a passion that died when she discovered his betrayal and found herself forever changed. Now, determined to make Shade pay for the transformation that haunts her, Runa searches for him, only to be taken prisoner by his darkest enemy.

A Seminus demon with a love-curse that threatens him with eternal torment, Shade hoped he’d seen the last of Runa and her irresistible charm. But when he wakes up in a dank dungeon chained next to an enraged and mysteriously powerful Runa, he realizes that her effect on him is more dangerous than ever. As their captor casts a spell that bonds them as lifemates, Shade and Runa must fight for their lives and their hearts—or succumb to a madman’s evil plans.

I just discovered Larissa and I have to say that I am completely addicted to her books. I read the first book and liked it, and then I picked up this book and absolutely loved it. From the time that started reading it all I wanted to do was hide in my room and read it.

Shade what can I say about Shade? He is awesome. He loves his brothers. He loves women. Did I mention that he is awesome?

Then there is Runa. She had a really sucky thing happen to her but instead of wallowing in despair she chose to make the most of it and learn everything she could.

As these two deal with the ramifications of their capture they also had to face what they feel for each other and their pasts.

This is one of the best books that I have ever read. It kept me engaged from the very beginning until the very end. It is a completely unique story line at least to me, and I really enjoyed that. It was very refreshing to read a paranormal that wasn’t like all the other ones out there. When I was done with this book I wanted to pick up the next book and start reading it immediately.

If you are looking for a new author in the paranormal genre than you can’t go wrong with Larissa Ione. I know that I have just added a new author to my auto buy list.

Grade A

Another raving review on this series, and still it is gathering dust on my TBR mountain. If only I had a bit more time for that.
