The Donovan Legacy

Captivated, Entranced and Charmed

Captivated

His interest in her was purely professional . . . Or so he told himself. Nash Kirkland had sought out the alluring Morgana Donovan to help him research his latest screenplay, though the hardheaded skeptic didn’t believe for a minute she was what she professed to be. But, as Morgana revealed herself to him, Nash found himself falling under her bewitching spell. Nash had never trusted his feelings and always kept them in check. So how could he be sure the irresistible passion he felt for Morgana was real and not just some conjurer’s trick?

Entranced

He was certainly a fraud, and she wasn’t about to let him exploit her friend’s vulnerability. But fiercely protective Mary Ellen Sutherland was desperate to find a missing baby and had run out of leads. So, reluctantly, the dubious private investigator agreed to enlist Sebastian Donovan’s help. Soon she had to admit — grudgingly — that this beguiling mystery man had some pretty remarkable gifts, including his extraordinary ability to penetrate her tough façade and awaken her heart.

Charmed

Her legacy had been as much a curse as a blessing, so Anastasia Donovan had learned to keep it hidden. But when single dad Boone Sawyer swept into her heart, she longed to reveal everything despite her fear of the consequences. Then fate stepped in…

REVIEW: This is the series that I remember reading of Nora’s. I immediately fell in love with her writing. At the time I loved all the books, but this time around I found that I had definite favorites of the series.

I absolutely loved doubting Thomas Nash, and how he was convinced that Natashia was pulling his leg, and that when it came right down to it what she was didn’t matter.

Mel has got to be one of my favorite characters, and throw in sexy Sebastian, and this book is in my all time favorites pile. As a teen-ager the story line didn’t mean that much to me, but as a parent, and an adoptive parent at that and let’s just say that this book is great.

Boone and Ana, what can I say about them. He is protective of what is his, and Jesse is his and the light of his life. His fertile imagination should leave him open to what Ana is, however when push comes to shove he backs away, however not for long as he soon realizes his mistake.

Over all I really enjoyed these books.

I read these as part of two series..Spring ’09 Reading Challenge, Read a book by one of the first Romance writes you ever read….The Serial Reading Challenge.

I give Captivated a 4.5 out of 5

I give Entranced 5 out of 5

I give Charmed a 4 out of 5.
