Thoughts:
I’m fairly new to the New Adult genre but was not disappointed with this story. I’ve always been interested in mythology since I studied it in college and reading about it in earlier books of Tee’s. This book contained Hindu mythology which I was fascinated with. The story pulled me in from page 1. Tee developed the characters and the story quickly but in away that it didn’t feel rushed. I loved learning about the gods and goddesses of the Hindu mythology and found them fascinating. The forbidden love between Nik and Maya is well told throughout and I look forward to seeing what happens in future books.
I give this book an A.
