Flawed Love by Bella Jewel

flawedloveTitle: Flawed Love

Series: House of Obsidian book #2

Author: Bella Jewel

Description:

Rainer Torrence is everything I could have wanted in my life and more.
He became my best friend when I was Thirteen years old.
From then on, we were inseparable. He was my first love and my first heartbreak.
But I always thought it was forever.
Until his Father died and things went bad.
Then suddenly, he disappeared.
Ten years and I didn’t see or hear from him.
Then came the call I’d be praying for– he was back in town.
Only the man I remembered is not him.
This man is quiet, deadly, and so incredibly beautiful.
He also doesn’t remember me.
He looks into my eyes, and he sees nothing.
Nothing.
So, I let him believe I’m just a girl that walked into his bar.
I let him believe I’m just a friend.
I let him use me on the cold, dark nights.
I let him believe that I am as emotionless about our relationship as he is.
I just let the secret go on and on.
But all secrets have an end, don’t they?

**FLAWED LOVE is a standalone second chance romance with a HEA**

Thoughts:

OH MAN!!! now this is what a smoking HOT romance book should be like!! The feels and the love and the chemistry coming off these pages are magic!!

The dedication on this one said it all for me: To everyone who has lost love and been lucky enough to find it again. To second chances and the epic romances that sweep us off our feet. (made my romantic heart pitter patter!)

Just like Flawed Heart the first book in this series, I enjoyed the back and forth flow of the “Then” and “Now” in the story telling. Seeing Rainer and Emalie/Mali during their years as best friends and then knowing that he doesn’t recognize her today… my heart hurt for her and I flipped the pages faster and faster to try and figure out what in the world could Rainer have gone through to make him forget her??

Rainer’s attachment to Pippa was a little annoying at times because I wanted him to know that Emy was the one over his heart! but when two people go through a trauma like they did… I could empathize even though I didn’t like it!

This story gave me the perfect amount of angst and the perfect amount of HOT HOT lovin’ and an absolutely perfect little HEA wrapped up in a big red “Say Anything” bow! It was all I could hoped for!!

Now come on August 11th and Hard to Fight (book 1 in the Alpha’s Heart series)which is Raide’s story – I CANNOT WAIT!

Grade A
