Forever and a Day by Jill Shalvis + giveaway

Title: Forever and a Day

Series: Lucky Harbor bk 6

Author: Jill Shalvis

Genre: Contemporary

Grace never thought she’d be starting her life over from scratch. Losing everything has landed her in Lucky Harbor, working as a dog walker for overwhelmed ER doctor Josh Scott. But the day his nanny fails to show up, Grace goes from caring for Josh’s lovable mutt to caring for his rambunctious son. Soon Grace is playing house with the sexy single dad . . .
With so many people depending on him, Josh has no time for anything outside of his clinic and family-until Grace arrives in town. Now this brainy blonde is turning his life inside out and giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “good bedside manner.” Josh and Grace don’t know if what they have can last. But in a town like Lucky Harbor, a lifetime of love starts with just one day . . .

Jill Shalvis is an author that I can always count on to deliver a great contemporary story with characters I love and plot I get completely caught up in.

Josh has been a hero I’ve wanted more of ever since Lucky in Love as he is one overworked doctor. When we get to know him we discover why he is the way he is and just how much he needs to let something go.

How I loved Grace. She’s had the rug pulled out from under her and yet she doesn’t give up. She just keeps on plugging along and trying to get back on her feet.

The attraction between Josh and Grace takes them both off guard, especially as there are more than just them they have to take into consideration. As they both struggle to make life changing decisions they come to realize that maybe there is more than what they are looking for out there.

This is one of my favorite books in the series, and the perfect ending to this arc of the Lucky Harbor series. I can’t wait to see who she writes about next in Lucky Harbor as I am completely addicted to this town.
