Daughters of the Glen bk 4

back cover:

TEXAS, PRESENT DAY. Ellie Denton’s world has spiraled out of control. A strange new birthmark, animals talking to her, and her mother’s ex-husband laying claim to the family ranch have her thinking life can’t get more complicated. But Ellie doesn’t know the birthmark’s connection to her Faerie ancestors. Complicated takes on a whole new meaning with her innocent wish to find her true love.

SCOTLAND, 1304. Caden MacAlister has more trouble than he can handle. With his brother held for ransom
and the laird missing, the last thing he needs is another problem. But the Fae have other plans.

A mysterious woman shows up in his stables, sent by Faerie Magic to find her true love. Fighting his attraction, Caden insists she’s meant for one of his brothers. With his history, he has no desire for a woman in his life—especially a woman sent by the Fae.

Only the magic of the Fae can determine whether Ellie will find a Highlander of her own…

REVIEW: This is one of my sister in law’s favorite authors, so I picked up the books. I have to say that I really liked this book.

What do you get when you mix a fiercely independent woman from the 21st century and put her back in 13th century Scotland. A recipe for laughter, and a guarantee to drive any man that she comes in contact with mad, especially one like Caden that has sworn to never marry.

Every time that these two got together you feel the sparks flying. All Ellie wants is someone to love her, but she also wants to go home and deal with her lying cheating step-father. Every time she came into contact with Caden you could feel emotions that he evoked in her. She wants him, but he wants nothing to do with her, yet he can’t stay away from her.

Caden has sworn to never marry, after his attempt to marry years ago, ended in tragedy for his family. Ellie tempts him as no one has in the past. She confuses him, and pulls him to her, no matter how he fights it. Not only does he have to contend with his feelings over Ellie, his brother and his Laird have both been taken captive.

If you haven’t yet checked this author out I recommend that you do. I know that I have enjoed wach of her books.

You can purchase the book here, here and here.

I give this book a 4 out of 5.
