Recipe and a Tradition rolled into one 🙂  My aunt makes this Christmas drink every year for the get-together with that side of the family and we drink it while we play cards.  It smells as good as it tastes!

Hot Apple Cranberry Drink

2 quarts apple juice

6 c cranberry juice

1/4 c brown sugar

1/2 T whole cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

pinch of salt

Mix in a crock pot/slow cooker and heat

Makes 18-20 cups (depends on the size of the cup 😉 )

Make sure to contain the cloves (in a cheesecloth or similar)

Added note from my uncle 🙂 — my grandpa used to make this but add Everclear to it to warm up on those cold winter nights! 😉  He called it “glug” — an old Swedish drink.

5 Books for Santa to bring 🙂  (in no particular order– so hard to

choose!)  All upcoming releases from some of my favorite authors!!

Rocky Mountain Angel– Vivian Arend

The Sum of All Kisses– Julia Quinn

Love Irresistably– Julie James
