Series:  Sweet Salvation Brewery Book #2

Author:  Avery Flynn

Genre:  Romance

Blurb:  For years, Sean O’Dell has hidden his past as a Hollywood heartthrob from everyone at the Sweet Salvation Brewery. However, the arrival of nosey efficiency expert Natalie Sweet threatens the status quo. It doesn’t help that with her glasses, buttoned-up sweaters and always pulled-back hair that she’s uncovered one secret already: His attraction for hot librarian types.
Natalie has had enough of the strong-and-silent Sean submarining her efforts to change the brewery for the better. She’s ready to do whatever it takes to make her vision a reality, even if that means taking down the pig-headed and too-hot-for-his-own-good brewmaster.
Sizzling attraction battles stubborn determination as Natalie and Sean go head to head in a battle that’s anything but business as usual.

Thoughts:  I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this book, but needless to say all it took was a few pages to capture my interest.  This was my first time reading a book by this author, and even though it was part of a series it was easy a stand alone title.  While it is easy to see it as part of a series, amazingly enough it managed to not leave you with that annoying feeling that you are missing out on something either.  The background of a brewery definitely made for an interesting storyline.  I really enjoyed the characters, and the tension between these two definitely made for interesting reading – particularly Sean’s new fascination for button-up sweaters – or rather unfastening them….:)

The biggest problem?  When it came to maintaining a good interest level within the storyline there were just a lot ebbs and flows to it.  The ending definitely made up for it though!  Will definitely be on the look out for more from this author!
