Hot Ticket by Olivia Cunning

index2Title:  Hot Ticket

Series:  Sinners On Tour book 3

Author:  Olivia Cunning

There are things in bassist Jace Seymour’s past that he is unwilling to share with anyone. To cover his guilt and anguish, he seeks dominatrix Mistress V (Aggie) to temporarily placate his inner turmoil.

Aggie doesn’t have much use for men–besides the power rush she gets when they’re begging for mercy at her feet–but Jace isn’t like her usual clients. His cool defiance and unexpected dominance in the bedroom drives her to distraction and quickly steals her heart.

When circumstances threaten Jace’s position in Sinners, Aggie must help him regain his rightful place in the band while showing him that time and love can heal all wounds.

The first blurb I saw about this series was “Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll” so of course I was totally on board! It’s the first series in a long time that I have read out of order (I admit that I was impatient and read book 5 Double Time first – YOWZA!!) but it has not made my buy-in or love for these characters any less.

Jace is a tortured soul that made me want to hug him tight and make all of the bad stuff go away. The stronger his feelings grow for Aggie the more tortured he gets because he doesn’t think he deserves the love, acceptance and understanding that come from her.  Its a journey to healing that has you rooting for this couple to make it.

Aggie is self-assured and content with the person that she is. She won’t settle for anything less than being loved and accepted. A woman who makes no excuses for where she’s is in life, she owns her kink and she’s good at it.  This book has all the erotica and BDSM that a reader could want but there is also an excellent story and well developed characters that help heal each other. And it also gives us lots of time with the other characters that we have some to love from this series.
