How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf

Naked Werewolf’s bk 1

Molly Harper

Northern Exposure

Even in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham—who has been openly critical of Mo’s ability to adapt to life in Alaska—has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, it’s love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated. . . .

I knew the minute that I got the email from Molly’s publisher about this book that I would want to read it, it sounded like a cute fun read. I have been carrying it around in my bag foe weeks and finally took it out and started reading it the other night, I was up half the night reading it, and woke up early to finish it.

Mo needs a change, she needs to get away from her very hippie parents and discover who she is without them always popping up and interfering with her life. So she moved clear across the country to Grundy Alaska. She is going to take a year and discover who she is.  She soon finds a place for herself in the only restaurant in town as the cook. She forms friendships and even the beginning of a relationship with the local ranger. There was only one problem in her life and that was Cooper, the surly cousin of her friend Evie. While he annoys her to no end, he also makes her body tingle, and react in ways that it never has before.

Cooper is an enigma for most of the book, as it is written in first person and completely from the point of view of Mo. He is the strong silent type that is pissing Mo off one minute and then kissing her the next. When he finally makes his move there is no doubt that Mo is with him all the way. He has some serious issues to work out and is able to with the help of Mo at his side.

I normally don’t like first person books, but I really enjoyed this one, in fact I didn’t realize that it was in first person till halfway through the book. This book has it all in my opinion, strong female lead, two cute possible love interests one being slightly more sexy, great secondary characters, and a story that moves along at a great pace. I ended the book wanting to immediately pick up the second book in this series which comes out this month and features Cooper’s sister Maggie who is huge pain in Mo’s butt.

If you like fun quirky reads than this is definitely the book for you.

Could be just the strange title, but I am drawn to this book! I saw it tonite at Borders. I have seen it several times on Facebook. It looks more interesting all the time. I am very picky about what I buy. Book store money is hard to come by. But this one keeps calling to me! haha

I gotta read this book! This is the first I’ve seen of it, but it really looks like a great read. I’ve never read Molly’s books either, but I’ll definitely read this one.

Question: why only US contests lately? The bookdepository ships free worldwide.

I am torn between liking this book, and not, as I have seen a lot of reviews of it lately. The biggest no for me is the name of the heroine, shrugs.

Aurian…when we are the ones providing the books it is open to international, when the publishers are the ones providing the books and they are shipping straight from them they tell us where they will ship. Don’t worry we will have more international giveaways…
