Blurb:  He’ll show this good girl the thrill of being bad…

Good girl Melody Merritt is ready to be bad. Fresh out of an unsatisfying ten-year engagement to the town golden boy, she’s determined to make up for lost time. And who better to burn her sterling reputation to the ground than Bluelick’s sinfully sexy new fire chief whose wicked gaze promises complete and utter domination? Yes, please.
Corrupting the prim and proper Little Miss Bluelick is the most action Josh Bradley’s seen since he transferred from Cincinnati to fast-track his career. He won’t let anything or anyone—not even the delectable Melody Merritt—trap him in this Kentucky-fried Mayberry, but when their searing chemistry yields an unexpected result, he realizes he’s started a blaze that’s completely beyond his control…

Thoughts:  Who can withstand the sparks started by a hunky firefighter?  And, boy, does fire chief Josh Bradley really know how to fan those flames to max proportions!  He sure knows how to hit all the right buttons – and prim and proper Miss Bluelick is finally ready to take some chances – and break out of that “good-girl” reputation that has stifled her for years and let her inner bad girl out to play!  And Josh sure does tempt her wild side!

But Melody is a still a small town girl at heart – she can’t imagine living anywhere else other than Bluelick.  The problem is the big city guy who came here for the job opportunity of a lifetime – never had any intention of staying.  But then again, he never counted on sweet little Miss Bluelick….

This book is definitely a scorcher!  The pages heat up quick, the characters were immensely likeable, and there was a good storyline going on.  I felt that there was a bit of a gap though when it came to the sexual chemistry of the characters and the emotional development between them.  We jump from amazing sex to ‘I want to be with you forever’, but I didn’t feel that emotional connection develop between these characters.  It’s just assumed that that is where the flow of the story is supposed to go.  There is also a bit of a ‘firebug’ storyline going on, which I felt was just a bit thrown in there and not very pertinent overall.  But it was a very enjoyable story, and one I kept itching to get back to so I could see what happened.

Enjoyable, fun, and HOT!
