Series: Cosmo Red-Hot Read
Author: Tiffany Reisz
Wanted: Adventurous, open-minded man willing to try anything…
As a popular sex blogger, Beatriz gets paid to have orgasms. So being on deadline the week of her sister’s wedding isn’t as rough as it sounds. There’s just one hitch: Bea’s assignment is to write a review of a sex position manual, but she doesn’t have a plus one to play with.
The good news: Ben, the one who got away back in college, is also attending stag–and he’s as temptingly gorgeous as ever.
The bad news: Ben turned down Bea’s offer of graduation night sex five years ago.
The best news: He’s not planning on making the same mistake twice.
A red-hot retelling of Much Ado About Nothing for people who love Shakespeare but thought his plays could use a few more sex scenes.
A Cosmo Red-Hot Read
Cosmo Red-Hot Reads has led me to another new-to-me author! I have fallen in love with Tiffany Reisz and plan to Facebook and Goodreads stalk her relentlessly!!
I loved everything about this quick read! The heat, the flow, the banter, the one-liners, the humor…
” “Absofuckinglutely.” He kissed her again and left her naked and wet and her hotel room. Why was he always doing that? Walking away from her when she was naked? He considered this habit a personal failing, on par with heroin addiction or serial killing and something to overcome as soon as possible. He’d get medical attention if necessary.”
So in-your-face and hilarious. ” Lunch was a festive affair, everyone talking and laughing at once. Ben gorged on lunch. He usually never ate this much, but he figured he’d lost about 2 pounds just in semen in the past twenty-four hours.”
And so sweet. I love the interaction between the respective best friends of our main characters. Claudia and Henry were so obviously in love with each other and rooting for their friends to make a go of it!
And Keaton the bellhop… it’s been a really long time since a book has made me laugh out loud as much as this author did!
” “Can I help you, sir?” came a voice from behind him. Ben spun around and saw a young man in a bellhop’s uniform with Keaton on the nametag.
“Can you be bribed?” Ben asked, deciding to cut through pretense.
“Yes. Yes, I can,” Keaton the bellhop said and gave Ben a jaunty salute.
“Good. Will a Jackson buy me a room number?”
“Fine,” Keaton said but a Franklin would buy you five room numbers and my R-E-S-P-E-C-T.”
“Do you actually work here or are you an escaped mental patient?” Ben asked.
“You really want to know?”
Ben shook his head. “Nope.” He handed over the twenty-dollar bill to Keaton. “I’m looking for the new room number for Henry Bard. He’s got two rooms booked.”
“Got it,” Keaton said. “You stay here. I’ll do recon. If I’m not back in ten minutes, assume I’ve been captured. Save yourself.”
Keaton started across the hotel lobby. He seem to be walking as if the theme music to Mission Impossible played in the background. Ben rolled his eyes. Maybe if he tackled the guy he could get his twenty back. ”
See! Banter… Humor… Great stuff!!
I highly suggest this light, quick, hot, hilarious read. I already have two more of this authors books loaded on my Kindle and ready to go. I can hardly wait!
