This is the first book in this series and what a way to begin, can’t wait to start reading the next few books.
I really enjoyed the honesty and maturity Alex & Amelia had. I have gotten frustrated at times while reading historicals with young characters who get whiney and are self-centered. This book definitely does not fall into that category, both of them knew what they wanted early on and were not afraid to go after it.
The storyline itself was well written and very entertaining. Full of intrigue, passion (yeah a bit steamy at times) and romance, just what is needed in a fantastic read. If you have not had the opportunity to pick up a copy of this book you should run out and get it soon.
