Thoughts: I was a little late on discovering the bright star that is Erin Nicolas – my first book by her was She’s The One, her first title in the Counting On Love series. Only then did I read it as ‘research’ for the blog here at The Book Reading Gals, since I was asked to host a book chat and I wanted to be familiar with the book. I loved the book (of course!) – and I loved hosting that book chat and getting to know Erin personally (still one of the best authors I know!) – as well as getting to know all our followers of the blog! Since then, I have made it a point to go back and read some of her other books – as well as try to keep up with her new ones – which is a challenge since she is constantly putting out book after book! J Fans of hers will recognize this one as a re-issue – but it comes out in time to get it ready to expand it into a new series! However, for me it is still new either way!
Honestly, I loved the whole scope and aspect of this story. I think one of the very first romance novels I first picked up was about physical therapist working with children who fell in love with the father of one of her patients, and since then this has been a theme I’ve been rather fond of. Of course, that was years ago, and that book had nothing on this one! Erin’s unbelievable talent holds true in this one, and it is interesting to see Jaden hold her own against Adam – and stay true to the values of what she believes in and the best interest of her patient, regardless to the personal hardships it meant for her. It was a beautiful story with great characters and just another great novel by Erin – can’t wait to read the others in the series!
