Razed by Shiloh Walker

Title:  Razed

Series: Barnes Brothers Book #2

Stand Alone Title: yes
Author: Shiloh Walker

Genre: Romance

Blurb: Tattoo artist Keelie Jessup can handle that someone else has claimed the man of her dreams. She’s just not pleased with her remaining options…

Keelie doesn’t believe in the “perfect man.” But the men who are worth the trouble are usually taken—like her business partner Zach Barnes. After a string of bad luck and the lost chance with Zach, Keelie decides that maybe flying solo—and living with suppressed desires—is the key to happiness.

As a photographer, Zane Barnes has an eye for the human form, and his eyes can’t get enough of Keelie’s curves. Unfortunately, Keelie is like most women—always fawning over his little brother, Zach. Zane is about ready to give up, but then a few stolen moments at his brother’s wedding have him thinking maybe there’s a chance there after all. Now he just has to prove that the perfect man does exist…for her.

Favorite quotes: “I’m just trying to see the picture that’s so obvious for you.  I mean, I’ve been trying to get you to go out with me for…hell, three years now, if I remember right.”

“Because I do.  I’ve all but been your slave for the past three years, Keelie.  You just never noticed.”

Thoughts: This book was just pure magic…I couldn’t have found a more perfect book with all the elements I love!  Zane is totally ga-ga over Keelie, yet still has that silent front that hides his real emotions and thoughts.  But he also knows when to lay it all on the line.  Zane is like the epitome of the perfect male lead/hero/book boyfriend.  Keelie is the perfect match, too, though she has a few hang-ups…yet, she still manages to be such a strong character.

I hadn’t read the first book…not yet anyway!…..but it was easily read as a stand alone.  Believe me though, not only will I go back and grab book one of this series, but I will be following the series from now on!
