REVIEW: I have now read this book twice and I really wish that I liked it better. I loved the characters, all of the ones in this series, however for some reason half way through the book it really just fell flat, the story line I mean.

Tristan was a man that I have to be honest I would have gone off with also. He was dangerous, had an air about him that said he could care less what people thought of him, and he was cute to boot.

Simone was a woman that I would want as my friend. Having spent the first 13 years of her life living in a brothel, she had no use for the Ton. She did what she wanted, only caring what her family thought.

When these two meet the sparks fly immediately and you know that they are going to be explosive, and they are. However just as the story is getting good, and we think that we are going to see a great romance, the author throws in an unnecessary character. This really just bugged me, and I couldn’t get past it. At this point I stopped reading, and skipped to the end to see the resolution to Tristan’s problem and them get together.

For the first half to three-quarters of this book it is good, and funny. However after that it just falls short, at least in my opinion.

I give this book a 3.5 out of 5
