Tempt Me

Tempt Me

Shiloh Walker

She’s a temptation he can’t resist…

Roxanne ‘Rocki’ Monroe’s life is full of secrets and hidden heartaches. Cole Stanton would love to heal her pain and chase away the ghosts of her past, but she’s just a complication he doesn’t have room for in his life.

Or so he thinks.

It doesn’t take Cole long to realize he’s more than willing to let temptation get the best of him, more than happy to deal with complications if that’s what it takes to get her.

What he has and what he needs are two different things…and what he needs is Rocki.

This was my first Shiloh Walker book and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Her characters were very relateable and worked very well together.

Rocki is a woman that knows herself very well. She knows what works for her and what doesn’t. She is very secure in her skin, and celebrates the way that she looks. She loves to help other women feel the same way and does so with her line of lingerie. She would also like a man in her life again.

Cole is at a crossroads when he meets Rocki and from the moment he does he wants her. When the opportunity presents itself to be with her, he takes it. What he didn’t expect was for her to compliment him in a way he never thought possible.

Okay now for the praise. I absolutely loved this book. There was nothing in it that I didn’t like. There was just the right amount of sexual tension between these two. There was a conflict, a couple of them actually that played out very well. The banter between all the characters was great, I especially loved the snarky banter. The cast of secondary characters was great, in fact I am hoping that Shiloh will write Rocki’s best friends book.

If you have never read a Shiloh Walker book, like me,  than this is an excellent place to start.

I have been tempted before, but never actually picked one up. But I like your review, and I like strong heroines.

I have never read one of her books. But from what you are saying, I might just have to. The cover is lovely.
