The Perfect Fit by Jenna Sutton

TPF JSTitle: The Perfect Fit

Series: Riley O’Brien & Co. novella

Author: Jenna Sutton

Zeke May has spent the past two years recovering from an IED attack and trying to adjust to life as a civilian. The veteran hiring program at denim empire Riley O’Brien & Co. offers a new beginning. The only problem is the high cost of housing in San Francisco, and Margo Lange could be the perfect solution.

Now that Margo has completed veterinary school, she’s ready to fulfill her dream of living in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, she’s drowning in student loan debt and the only places she can afford are dumps. Luckily, one of her uncle’s Army buddies needs a roommate.

Although Zeke’s place is a perfect fit for Margo’s budget, he is not what she expects. He’s much younger than her uncle, and he’s melt-your-panties hot. She doesn’t want to fall for him, but it doesn’t take her long to realize that Zeke is the perfect fit for her, regardless of their age gap. Too bad he’s so obviously still in love with his ex-wife…

My Thoughts:

I just love when you find an author that you know, you just KNOW, that when you pick up a book from them you are in for a great story. A story that will help me escape for a bit, let me live vicariously through the characters, and give me the happily ever after that I LOVE!  For me Jenna Sutton is that kind of author!

The Perfect Fit is a quick story that I read in one afternoon.  I felt that the handling of the aftereffects of a soldier returning from active service were handled realistically. I was drawn in by Margo’s love for veterinary medicine and for quirky animals facts. And, oh man, the chemistry between Margo and Zeke was smoking off of my kindle!

This story is listed as a novella off of Jenna’s Riley O’Brien & Co. series but in my opinion this can definitely be read as a standalone. But be ready to buy the other 2 books that Jenna has out because her writing style is so spot on you will not be able to resist! Here is an example:

“At this point, he had only a few life goals. He wanted to sleep through the night without any nightmares. He wanted to run in marathons again. He wanted to end his three-year dry spell and f*ck a soft, sexy woman until he came so hard he passed out. But all of those things required him to do one thing: deal with the toxic emotions he had…”

I give The Perfect Fit – 5 “Life is short. Let’s eat dessert first.” STARS!!
