As I got up this morning I did something that I don’t normally do, I turned on the t.v.. I usually get up take the kids to school then go back to bed to snuggle with Mike, as we can only do that in the morning as I am asleep when he gets home from work, that is our time. However this morning I had to watch. I didn’t vote for Obama, however I have to say that I am excited to be able to watch history in the making.
As I dropped this kids off at school last week I heard the announcement that in every classroom in America this inauguration, including in Mik and Mat’s class.
This is a day that will be remembered in history, and I am very glad to be able to see it in my life, and also for all of the implications it means for my boys.
