Again, from my goodreads page, the last Historical books I gave 5 star ratings to:

No Good Duke Goes Unpunished by Sarah MacLean
The Spinster’s Secret by Emily Larkin
The Wicked Deeds of Daniel Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley
Tapestry by Karen Ranney – an older title, but new to me.
The Endearment by LaVyrle Spencer – this is my only reread, but I read it before when it came out.
Lord of Wicked Intentions by Lorraine Heath
    Sweet Madness by Heather Snow
With This Kiss by Eloisa James

I know this is more than five, but I had to include the Heather Snow and Eloisa James books. 🙂 I do read a lot of Historical romances, but many only got a 4 star rating from me.

I rarely read historicals. I did however re-read some of Lorraine Heath’s older ones – I was in a mood for some v.g. oldies: Sweet Lullaby, Parting Gifts and Always to Remember. I also re-read her Texas Trilogy. I do enjoy reading western historicals.

Lorraine Heath is probably my favorite Historical author. I don’t think I’ve read anything by her that I didn’t rate less than an A.
