Unexpected

Lori Foster

back cover

Meet Ray Vereker, a female Rambo with quick reflexes, sharp instincts, a hot body, and a bad case of morning sickness…

OH, YES…
Eli Conners expected hired mercenary Ray Vereker to be a tank of a guy with forty tattoos—not a gorgeous creature with considerable karate skills. While Eli certainly needs Ray’s help, he thinks she could use a little of what he’s offering…a down-and-dirty, body-scorching passion of the forever kind…

OH, NO…
Ray’s as good as any man when it comes to storming enemy compounds and loading an AK-47, but Eli’s strong sensuality and gentle touch leave her shaken and stirred. And really, who could blame a girl for succumbing to mind-blowing temptation in the steamy jungle? But now it’s back to business. If only Ray wasn’t feeling hot, bothered, dizzy, and just a little bit, well, queasy…

OH, BABY…
The last thing either of these unlikely lovers expects is to be expecting. Suddenly, Ray’s precise, no-nonsense mission is veering wildly off course, derailed by raging hormones, out-of-control desire, and a delirious love that is completely unexpected…

REVIEW: This is one of those books that makes you smile. From the moment that I started I couldn’t put it down till I had finished it.

Eli and Ray are exactly like the back cover describes them. Eli is strong and sure. Ray is used to getting what he wants. Neither one of them think that they have anything in common. That is until they start talking about their pasts. Then they discover they do have a few things in common. This just makes the sparks fly hotter.

When they get back to the real world Eli figures that Ray will want nothing more to do with her, so she skips out. She never expected him to come after her, so when he does, she is left floundering. What he doesn’t expect is the surprise that she has for him.

If you have never read a Lori Foster book, I suggest that you do and add this book to your pile of must reads.

I give this book a 4.75 out of 5.

You can purchase the book here, here and here.

I've tried one Lori Foster book as per recommendation of a Facebook friend who turned out to be Lori Foster's brother (or so he says). Arthie recommended that I read Servant The Awakening. After reading the book I told Arthie that I would not read any more of his recommendations. That was before he told me that L Foster is his sister! I backpedaled furiously saying that L Foster is a good story teller. Which she is! La di bla di bla. I must have said something pacifying because Arhtie still talks to me.

was it an l.l. foster book or a lori foster book. Her writing style is very different for each of her personas. I don't like the l.l foster books but I love the Lori Foster books.
