This week will celebrate the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Most of the men and women that survived that day have left us and it is up to us to remember them.
As I was doing my Christmas Shopping this week at one of the stores I went to I was given a gift of the book In the Dark Streets Shineth a 1941 Christmas Eve Story told by David McCullough. This is the story of Christmas Eve just after the attack at Pearl Harbor when Winston Churchill traveled in secret to the US and how in the midst of that tradegy we were given two Christmas songs that are now a part of the holidays, “O Little Town of Bethlehem” and “I’ll be home for Christmas”.
I want to share this with you it’s a 10 minute clip so grab a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy. If the video doesn’t load automatically hit refresh.
