When it comes to writing romantic suspense with former Special Forces heroes and the women who love them Cindy Gerard is at the top of the list. She was my first romantic suspense author many moons ago and I can tell you I’ll be reading her until she retires from writing (which I’m hoping never happens). Her latest series is a spin-off from one of my favorite series of hers and has some of my all time favorite romantic suspense books in it. She was also the first author (at least that I know of) to have a hero come home with missing limbs, which happens in this series. There are several novellas in this series but they are all about couples who’ve already had their HEA so I didn’t add them.
