Lonely Shore by Jenn Burke & Kelly Jensen

lonely shoreTitle: Lonely Shore
Series: Chaos Station bk 2
Authors: Jenn Burke & Kelly Jensen
Genre: Sci-fi/Paranormal/M/M

All they can do is live day to day…

Felix Ingesson has returned to his duties as the Chaos‘s engineer with Zander Anatolius, his ex-boyfriend-turned-broken-super-soldier, at his side. Hope means something again. But there’s nothing Felix can do to battle the alien poison flowing through Zander’s veins, or his imminent mental decline. With each passing day, the side effects of Zander’s experimental training are becoming more difficult to ignore.

When the ruthless Agrius Cartel seeks their revenge—including an ambush and an attempt to kidnap the Chaos’s crew—Zander is pushed over the edge. He can no longer hide his symptoms, nor does he want to. But hurting Felix when he’s not in control of himself is Zander’s worst nightmare—when it nearly happens, he agrees to seek help. Even if that means trusting the unknown.

As Zander places his life in alien hands, Felix appoints himself his lover’s keeper. And though he tries to be strong, he can’t ignore the fact that he might lose Zander…forever this time.

Thoughts: Holy freaking crap this series is good. Like beyond GOOD. Like I’m going to tell everyone to GO BUY THE BOOKS IN THIS SERIES RIGHT NOW!!!!

If you’re a fan of science fiction romances then you won’t to miss this series.

I will tell you you need to read the first book in this series Chaos Station before you read this book as it sets up Felix and Zander’s story for you.

I totally and completely fell in love with Felix and Zander in Chaos Station and couldn’t wait for them to start getting their HEA in Lonely Shore. This book was a roller coaster of emotions for me and really any one who reads it. I’m not going to tell you why, but I will tell you that this…make sure you have a lot of kleenex handy when you read this. It will rip your heart out and put it back together again.

This is one of those series I never want to end, and keep checking to see if the next book in the series is up yet.
