I’m super excited to have Erin on today. She is the author of one of my top reads this year. If you haven’t already checked out her NA series TRUE well then you need to fix this. Sweet, her upcoming release in this series, is in my top reads of the year so far, and for sure in the top five reads in this genre. We’re happy to have Erin on today playing our new game with authors…this is so we don’t try and pump them for information about their next book, and I really want to pump her for the next book in this series. That being said, it’s time to start the game.
TBRG: Thanks for coming back and visiting us, Erin.
EM: Thanks for the invite!
TBRG: Are you ready to start?
EM: I was born ready. Lol.
TBRG: Here’s how it works. You read the word and the first thing that pops into you mind is what you write down. No cheating, this means you can’t write something and decided to change your mind. Any questions?
TBRG: Ok, let’s get started.
TBRG: Drink:
EM: Coffee
TBRG: Snack
EM: cake (I don’t really eat cake as a snack but my head went snack cake)
TBRG: Comfort food
EM: Ice cream
TBRG: Favorite literary hero (any hero you want so long as they are in a book, for example Roarke works as a literary hero)
EM: Mr. Darcy
TBRG: Favorite literary heroine (same here)
EM: Jane Eyre
TBRG: Comfort read
EM: Anything Jane Austen
TBRG: TV Show
EM: Broadchurch. Wow, what an amazing and sophisticated story arch.
TBRG: Movie
EM: Titanic. This popped in my mind because I’m reading a non-fiction book about the sinking. I’ll never let go, Jack.
TBRG: Vacation
EM: Beach
TBRG: Riley
EM: Mann
TBRG: Jessica
EM: Sweet (That’s what my mind does automatically, couldn’t stop it)
TBRG: Actor who plays Riley in your mind
EM: None. I have pics of male models to ‘inspire’ me.
TBRG: Actress who plays Jessica in your mind
EM: Same deal.
TBRG: Thanks for playing with us, Erin. Is there anything you want to add about Sweet that you think the readers will want to know, other than I LOVE this book. You can use more than one word J
EM: Thanks! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I had a great time writing Riley and Jessica and their snarky banter. 😉
TBRG: We want to thank Erin for being a good sport and playing our game with us. Sweet is available now.
EM: Thanks!

Jessica Sweet thought going away to college would finally make her free of her parents’ constant judgments and insistence she play chastity club role model for their church events, but if anything, the freedom has made her realize she can’t go home and be a hypocrite anymore. Tired of dodging their questions, she stays at school over the summer and lands in an unexpected crash pad: Riley Mann’s house.
Sarcastic, cocky, and full of opinions, Riley is also sexy personified with tattoos and biceps earned from working as a roofer all day. Not the right guy for her even if Jessica was looking for a relationship, which she is definitely not. But Jessica knows that Riley hides the burden of having to raise his younger brothers behind that grin and as she helps him get his house in order for a custody hearing, they begin to fall hard for each other, and she is forced to question what she’s hiding herself.
Jessica has never had a problem getting naked with a guy, but when it comes to showing Riley how she truly feels inside, her fear of rejection may just ruin the best thing—the best guy—to ever happen to her
