Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.
Okay we have been looking forward to this movie ever since we saw the preview a year ago. We have been watching this cartoon for years and it is one of our favorites. Plus Grandma (Mike and Melanie’s mom) has been doing tai chi for years and has been teaching us.
This movie follows the first book and the first season of this series. There were somethings that were out of order of the cartoon and book, but that is okay as it flowed really nicely.
We are anxiously awaiting the next movie which will be Earth and were we get to meet one of my favorite characters in the series.
As the entire family has seen this movie I took a poll and everyone but one person has given this movie 5 stars.
If you are looking for a great family movie to take the kids to then you absolutely can’t go wrong with this movie.
