My Man Michael by Lori Foster

My Man Michael
SBC Fighters bk 4

On the verge of a title shot match, fighter Michael “Mallet” Manchester is injured in a car accident. And just as quickly as his career was taking off, it’s over. Then Kaylie Raine appears, offering him a second chance at becoming whole. Even though Mallet thinks it’s the pain medication talking, he accepts her challenge. And on an extraordinary journey with Kaylie, he’ll get a chance to fight again—to save the woman who has saved him.

REVIEW: I have loved this series ever since I read the first book Causing Havoc, and then when the world is brought into the book Jude’s Law.

Every time a new book in this series comes out I have to get it immediately. This book was a little different but in a good way. There was nothing that I didn’t like about this book. From the moment that Michael (and lets face it I have a weakness for tough guys with the name Michael as I live with two of them) wakes up in the hospital he was a man that I wanted to get to know.

I really liked how Mallet agrees to help Kalyie and then she refuses to let him be who he is. He is able to see through her as soon as he meets her mother and sisters. Something things he changes immediately as part of him helping Kaylie and her people out, and somethings he does quietly and with sudeltiy.

If you have read any of this series then you will definitely love this book.

I give this book a 4.5 out of 5.
