Title: Opening Up
Series: Ink and Chrome bk 1
Author: Lauren Dane
Genre: Contemporary, Erotic
The men of the Twisted Steel custom motorcycle shop are great with their hands… and they’re not afraid to get dirty.
PJ is exactly the kind of woman Twisted Steel owner Asa Barrons doesn’t need. The last thing he wants to do is mix business with pleasure, and PJ has some of the best custom detailing he’s ever seen. But the chemistry between them won’t be denied, and soon he’s introducing her to a whole new world in the bedroom, pushing her far beyond anything she’s ever experienced. PJ finds she can’t get enough, but how far is too far before he consumes her completely?
Thoughts: Oh let me count the ways that I love Lauren Dane and her erotic romances…no, that would take you way to long. just know this that when it comes to erotic romances no one does it better in my opinion.
In her latest book, Opening Up, Dane takes back into her erotic romance world with her new series Ink and Chrome. Now in my opinion there is nothing hotter than a man who knows his way around a car, add in a heroine who knows who and what she is and wants and you have one smoking hot book.
PJ is one of those characters that you wish you knew in real life. She has a plan for her future and her career and she will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Even if it means doing the one thing she doesn’t want to do. But she does it, and learns more about herself and what she’s capable of then she ever imagined.
Asa…man I love Dane’s heroes. There is just something about them that makes me sigh and reread them over and over again. Asa is no exception. While he wants PJ he has a whole host of reasons on why he won’t touch her, until she forces the issue and then he’s all in.
Like most of Dane’s books there is family drama, and this one is no exception. I do have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how most of PJ’s family acted in the end. But I really loved how Asa supported her through out all of it.
I can’t wait to see what she does to Duke and Mick in this series.
