Thoughts: I was a bit conflicted after reading this first book of this duet, as it was pretty cut and dried to me. Unlike most ‘triangles’ in which you can see pros and cons to both characters (however, you are more drawn to one or the other), there are no pros to her past love and I can’t see anyone wishing her with him. I felt like that was just thrown in to add drama. I did like this one more than the first one, though.
