My Thoughts

My FAVORITE book of the series! Hands down my favorite! I’ve been dying for Jackson and Kiera’s story from the beginning so I knew this book would be one I devoured in one sitting.

I know the blurb says it’s a complete standalone, but I think you really feel the slow burn and angst if you read the previous books in the series first……just sayin!
In the previous books, Jackson came across as a carefree playboy chasing cheap thrills and ignoring the fact that an amazing woman was right there in front of him the whole time. But I knew…I KNEW there was more to him than meets the eye and this book proved that. He’s my favorite Bishop. He’s caring, kind, loyal, playful and selfless-in an idiotic kind of way lol. And he’s a Bishop so duh, he’s sexy AF.
I loved the way this story was written. Kira and Jackson have so much history and we needed to see parts of their past to really understand how they got into the situation they were in. Sometimes those moments crushed me but I kept telling myself “they’ll get it together.” I don’t want to give anything away but I’ll tell you, as with any Kennedy Fox book there’s crazy drama that will have you gasping. There’s lovey moments that will make you want to hug these characters… there’s all the steamy moments that you expect from a Bishop boy! And of course there’s that family love and banter that you can only find in the Bishop family. It was the perfect end to an awesome series.
