My very first love in romance was historical romance. Over the years I’ve read a lot of really great stories and a lot of meh stories. One of the series that I absolutely adore is this one. It’s just different enough to keep me coming back for more. If you’ve never read one of Isabella’s books before this is a perfect place to start.

I read the first 2 books & really liked them! I have to get to the 3rd. Plus, I got the first book in Isabella’s new series. Not sure if they are at all connected, but I knew I liked her writing style.
