Good, Bad, and Sexy by Jennifer Lyon

Title:  Good, Bad, and Sexy

Series:  n/a

Author:  Jennifer Lyon

Genre:  Romance

Blurb:   Good girl, Lexie Rollins is a wedding planner on the lam. All she did was defend herself (with a staple gun) against a sleazy groom—who knew the Assault and Battery charges would stick? Now Lexie’s “vacation” at an exclusive resort has put her at the top of gorgeous bad boy bounty hunter Nick Vardolous’s list. And sexy Nick always gets his woman-every which way imaginable…

Thoughts:  Attracted from the start, these two characters were just bound to wind up together!  Unfortunately, in the beginning, Nick isn’t looking for more than one night – while for Lexi it has to be at least a little more than that.  While this may have wound up being one of the decisions they both regret missing out on, these two a second chance – and under the oddest circumstances.  What could have been an unpleasant situation turns out to draw this couple together.

Lexie was a great character with a lot of spunk.  My issue with her is that fact that when it comes to her family she turns into a doormat!  Her family is unpleasant and just dislikeable, and I just didn’t see Lexie as a character that lays down and take their crap!  Nick was a great match for her and I liked the chemistry between these two.  The suspense aspect of the story was a little odd and in the end it just didn’t fit for me – perhaps with a bit more length and more fleshing out it would have worked better, but it just seemed thrown in there.

Overall though – a good read.  As well a short one, so if you want a quick fix or are short on time, this would be a great one to grab.
