New Release and Review: In A Jam by Kate Canterbury

In a Jam by Kate Canterbary is now live!

She’s the one who got away. She just doesn’t know it.

When Shay Zucconi’s step-grandmother died, she left Shay a tulip farm—under two conditions.

First, Shay has to move home to the small town of Friendship, Rhode Island. Second—and most problematic since her fiancé just called off the wedding—Shay must be married within one year.

Marriage is the last thing in the world Shay wants but she’ll do anything to save the only real home she’s ever known.

Noah Barden loved Shay Zucconi back in high school. Not that he ever told her. He was too shy, too awkward, too painfully uncool to ask out the beautiful, popular girl.

A lifetime later, Noah is a single dad to his niece and has his hands full running the family business. That old crush is the farthest thing from his mind.

Until Shay returns to their hometown and turns his life upside down.

My Thoughts:
This is the first book by Cate Canterbury I’ve read but it definitely won’t be my last! This book had everything I loved. Marriage of convenience, small town life, friends to lovers, and the cutest kid ever.
The story begins with Shay being left at the altar and then discovering she inherited her grandmother’s farm. Naturally to fully inherit the farm within a year she must live locally and be married. Her carefully planned life has been turned upside down so she decided to give Twin Tulips farm a chance. Once arriving at the farm she runs into Noah, the boy next door who’s all grown up and running his family’s business while also caring for his niece Gennie. Y’all I’m not lying Gennie was the cutest little kid ever. I loved her wild spirit and her potty mouth, and I loved the relationship she and Noah had.
Noah was the epitome of book boyfriends. The awkward teenage boy who pined after his best friend Shay, turned into the hot, successful farmer with a heart of gold. The way he took care of Shay was so damn swoony. Then he busted out the dirty talk and I was done for!
Shay was exactly what Noah and Gennie needed and vice versa. The chemistry between Noah and Shay was fantastic; the nickname Daddy Bread Baker  says it all. I had a huge smile on my face the entire time I read this book. It was the perfect balance of sweet, funny, and steamy. I did not want it to end!
