Linda Wisdom is on of my favorite paranormal authors. Her characters are fun and quirky and leave you wanting more. The latest installment of her witches series gives us Lili’s story. Lili is first mentioned in Wicked by Any Other Name and only in reference.
One of the things I love about this series is the message of friendship. In the 13th century (I think that’s when it happened it’s been awhile since I read the the story where they give the actual date) a group of young witches are turned out of the Witches Academy because they wouldn’t give up who had cast a spell on a really nasty person. Through out the centuries they have never worried that someone would give up the person. They also always support and back each other up.
Lili is a doctor that is determined to find out what happened to her friend Sara that disappeared months ago. What she finds however is the one thing she was just discovering she was missing from her life.
Jared has spent centuries held captive by an evil doctor but unknown to the doctor he was able to escape for a short while, as long as the shadow’s allow him to.
Lili and Jared’s story is one of those that sucks you in and keeps you entertained and cheering them on from the moment they meet till they get their HEA.
If you like fun quirky characters then you won’t want to miss this book and I highly recommend reading the other books in the series though you don’t have to read them to read this book.
