As a fan of Vicki Lewis Thompson I was excited to see a new series by her, as I have loved all of her series and most of her harlequin books. I have to say that this book didn’t disappoint.
Emma Gavin writes about werewolves, but that doesn’t mean she believes in them-not until a pack of real-life New York weres decide to investigate the striking accuracy of her “fiction”.
When Aiden Wallace, son and heir of the pack leader, tries to sniff out Emma’s potential informant, he discovers something even more dangerous- an undeniable attraction to her.
Emma is a great character. She has an amazing imagination and unfortunately for her, her imagination is a just a little to close to truth for some people. She is also a woman of contradictions, that I will let you discover for yourself. She does know that Aidan is the hunk of her dreams even if he is rich, and that she is going to do her best to seduce him, even knowing that it will never come to anything as she wants to have no regrets.
Adian has a job to do, and it is causing him some problems. He has been ordered by his alpha to find out who is feeding Emma information. What he gets however is one big mess, in the fact that he is instantly attracted to her, and the more he gets to know her the harder it is do deny the attraction.
Throw in a fan that has the potential to cause a lot of damage, some amazing sexual tension, a wolf afraid of flying (I loved how she he helps him through this), and a lot of great secondary characters and you get a great story.
If you like light hearted fun paranormal love stories than this book is for you. I know I loved it.
