Title: Allegiance of Honor
Series: Psy/Changeling bk 15
Author: Nalini Singh
Genre: Paranormal
The Psy-Changeling world has undergone a staggering transformation and now stands at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: Old enemies. New allies. Wary loners.
But a century of distrust and suspicion can’t be so easily forgotten and threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman’s cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: A child who is both Psy…and changeling.
To find the lost, protect the vulnerable—and save Trinity—no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honor even possible with traitors lurking in their midst?
Thoughts: From the moment I started reading this series I’ve been in love with it. So much so that every year I re-read the entire series. Its also the series I turn to the most when I need a comfort read, or am struggling in my depression.
As this story arc has progressed I’ve loved some stories and simply liked others. So seeing every single one of the couples was awesome and full of all the feels. There is a lot going on (way to much to break down in a review) as the world changes and the fall of Silence is complete. The events that take place in this book impact every single person from the past stories allowing us to catch up and reconnect. Some more than others.
Of all the different couples we get to see Riley and Mercy and the birth of their pupcubs was my favorite…especially with the way that Hawke and Lucas reacted. No wait there was the scene with Sasha and her mother. No wait…okay there were a lot of awesome moments.
The ending of the book was probably one of my absolute favorites though.
If you’re a fan of this series then you won’t want to miss this book.
