Thoughts:
3.5 stars for this feel good, semi-spicy love story that was 5 years in the making for this couple. Our hero has a heart of gold and our heroine has a heart that has been broken but to paraphrase her best friend – broken bones that heal, they’re stronger. Vicky just needs to realize that fact and go after her man!
Side note – I totally envisioned Dwayne Johnson as Dante the whole time I read this book!! And I think that I would ROCK (did you get that pun?) as a party planner!
It’s a 2nd in a series but it is a standalone so I did not have any issues not having read the first book. I read romance because I want a HEA and the book gave me that!
