So many things to love about this story! I love an author who can offer me a glimpse into an alpha males vulnerability and we definitely saw this with Alex. He was so afraid of being hurt that he pushes Jamie away when he could have easily explained his reactions. I also loved how the author handled Jamie’s acceptance of his bisexuality. It would have been easy to write the trope of him fighting his feeling but she chose to have Jamie embrace his feelings and his sexual needs that had never been met in previous personal relationships.
I will always read Laura Kaye books because this author can still make me cry and laugh and love her words and characters 15+ books in – I am a fan for life!!
