Thoughts: So I posted a portion of this review on my personal Amazon account under reviews for this book, but as always I have to expand it some.

I’ve been a fan of Carly Phillips ever since I saw her on the Regis and Kelly show years ago. I’ve read every single one of here books, some more than others. With every book she’s gotten better and better. I didn’t think she could surpass the Serendipity’s Finest as my favorite of her series, and the hottest. But I was wrong. Dare to Love is her best book. It’s got a hot tortured hero, and heroine who doesn’t take his crap, and the sex is the hottest sex she’s ever written.

Ok now that I’m done gushing let me break it down for you.

When Ian’s brother tells him to stay the hell away from Riley he does, which then causes her some problems. So he does what he can to make up for it. This puts her in his world and causes all sorts problems for Ian because he wants her. It doesn’t take long however before he gives in to need/desire for her.

Riley has never been attracted to her best friend Alex, but five minutes in his older brother’s presence and she’s ready to drop her panties and do whatever he tells her. This causes her all sorts of issues, for one Alex hates him, for another he’s now her boss. It doesn’t take her long however to give in to her attraction.

Ok I’m just going to say this, this book is Carly’s HOTTEST book to date. Granted her books are pretty spicy normally but this one is OMFG HAWT!!!! And it’s awesome. The sexual tension between Ian and Riley is so hot I was afraid my kindle would catch on fire. Alas it didn’t thank goodness 🙂

Ian and Riley’s road to HEA isn’t smooth, but it’s one that see’s both of them overcome their personal demons and learn to let the other in. Not only do they have to traverse their own demons but also deal with family issues, the big one being the fact Ian’s dad chose his mistress and his kids with her over him and his siblings, and one of this kids is Riley’s best friend.

By the end of the book I was completely hooked on these siblings and I can’t wait to see what she does with this series.

If you are a fan of Carly’s you won’t want to miss this book. If you are new to Carly then this is the perfect place to start.
