Thoughts: Ben has been the one member of Stage Dive that I wasn’t sure I was going to like, especially after what he helped his sister do in Lick, I got why he did it, but still.
From the moment he’s introduced to Lizzy in Play we knew something was going to happen between them it was just a matter of time. So while Jimmy and Lena were going through all their drama in Lead, Ben and Lizzy developed a relationship of sort.
After a disastrous trip to Vegas for Mal and Anne’s wedding Lizzy is done with Ben and I can’t say as I blame her, I would be to. But then the stick turns blue and Ben is back on the radar.
So what happens when you have a hormone driven pregnant college student, a rock star who never had any intention of having a family, a pissed of band mate, a rocker who wants Ben to move aside so he can have a shot at Lizzy and a tour?
A freaking awesome story is what.
One of my favorite parts of the book is when Ben’s sister (you remember her from Lick) shows up and tries to start crap. Lizzy’s reaction is awesome plus Sam (I really hope he gets a story of his own soon).
With this series Kylie Scott has landed firmly on my auto-buy list and I can’t wait for her next series Dive bar where the awesome Vaughan (You meet him in this book) will get his story.
If you love bad boy rockers who are felled completely by the women who love them, then you won’t want to miss this series.
