Thoughts: You won’t be surprised to see that I rate Echoes of Fire highly, particularly if you have read any of my reviews. I LOVE Suzanne Wright, she is one of my absolute favorite authors. I wasn’t feeling to excited about Echoes of Fire for some reason, however it was immediately apparent that I was going to fall in love with this book! I adore Madisyn. I’ve always loved a strong female lead, and I didn’t really think I could read one that surprised me though. But Madisyn is just a firecracker! She’s alpha with a bit of a crazy streak….LOL….and I loved it! It was really quite funny to read the other characters reactions when they discovered exactly what type of shifter she is. Surprisingly, once I read what type of shifter she was I had to go look it up to see if it was a real thing – and to check out pictures of this cat to see exactly what the darned thing looks like! Madisyn doesn’t take any crap – from anyone. And I loved how she thought about that in terms of the pack dynamics.
Once again, Suzanne Wright has given us exactly what we want as readers….and I eagerly await whatever comes next…J
