They’re both ready to experiment
Though Toni was innocent the first time she climbed the bus steps, that didn’t last long once Logan set his sights on her. He’s so much more worldly than she is and she’s ready to learn how to please a lover and explore all the ways she can be pleased. Logan can’t believe his luck. Toni’s a phenomenal woman and she wants him to teach her how to rock and roll in the sack? Not exactly a burdensome task. Until she starts to get too close to his heart and takes her insider look to a place he never anticipated.
My Thoughts:
Oh man this book was everything that I love about an in-your-face rock band and what I imagine their lifestyle to be! And no one writes rock stars better than Olivia Cunning!! By 18% in I knew that this was another OC hit for me and she did not disappoint!
I loved the storyline of Toni taking a chance for the first time and going for what she wants in life. Logan falls so fast for Toni and the 2 of them essentially fit in a way that their friends never expected. She takes his childish and sometime selfish side in stride because she has had experience with this from living that with her mom. And he takes Toni’s naïve side and teaches her ways to not only be a woman but to be an independent woman away from her mother and sister.
We got to see plenty of our Sinners and the women that tamed them but if you haven’t read the previous series it will not take away from Insider, it will just seem like more sexy yet already taken rock stars. We learned some of the background and beginnings of Exodus End and its members – Dare and Max and Steve and Reagan. There’s a bit of the storyline that is left hanging with Toni’s editor Susan so I look forward to seeing where that goes…
As all OC reads are, the sexy is OFF THE CHARTS! And the banter between not only Toni and Logan but both bands was 5 stars for me. I laughed so much! “What do women like? As gifts, I mean.” “Besides sex toys and weed?”… “Yeah, besides sex toys and weed.””
I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough and at the same time I did not want the story to end! Outsider will be the next book in this series and will take a closer look at Reagan and her men. If you haven’t already you should grab Double Time, Sinners on Tour #5, and read about Trey Mills and how he a Reagan got things started! Oh who am I kidding?? You should grab the whole Sinners on Tour series and dive in if you haven’t already!
