Love is a Battlefield by Elle Kennedy and Vivian Arend

love is a battlefieldTitle: Love is a Battlefield

Series: DreamMakers bk 2

Author: Elle Kennedy and Vivian Arend

Genre: Contemporary, Erotic

Years ago it was far easier for Jack Hunter to keep his hands off his best friend’s little sister. Before they’d signed up and done a couple tours of duty, Pepper Wilson had been nothing more than an annoying tag-along brat. Only now that he’s back for good and working to make DreamMakers a success, Pepper’s home from college and determined to push his every button.

Thoughts: Vivian Arend and Elle Kennedy are two of my absolute favorite authors writing today. I read every thing they write and then tell others that they need to go and read them as well. So when they announced that they were writing a series together it was a party on my twitter feed, in fact I’m pretty sure they both heard my squee all the way up in Canada.

Jack is one freaking hot hero (like you’d expect anything less from these two dirty minded authors). He’s battled his desire for Pepper for years because a)you didn’t go after the little sister of your best friend b) see reason a again c) again a. But when he finds Pepper crashed out on the couch in his office and gets his first good look at her in years he knows that he was done fighting his attraction to her. Pepper was all grown up now and more than capable of handling him.

Pepper has always thought her brothers best friend was hot, but also insufferable. So when he casually announces that he was going to fuck her it more than rocked her world, it changed everything between them. Very quickly the antipathy that had always been between them is gone as they burn up the sheets with every dirty idea they can come up.

Watching Jack and Pepper fall in love is like watching your two best friends who everyone else has known would be perfect for each other finally start dating.

If you’ve never read on of Elle or Viv’s books you should start here.
